RETIRED POLICE DOG SOPHIE

#RPDSophie is a 4-year-old German Shepherd who successfully completed her initial training course in March 2018.

 

#RPDSophie was a feisty madam as police dog and had a number of successful jobs whilst serving with Gwent Police, until her early retirement in 2019 due to a medical condition. 

 

She is now happily retired and enjoying good health with her new forever family. Her favourite game is ‘tuggies’ (she’s very good!) and she would happily spend all day chasing tennis balls!

 

#RPDSophie now spends her days playing on the beach and causing mischief with her new human baby brother... next on her training agenda is to learn how to change a nappy!
